Robert and I had our two year anniversary a couple weeks ago on May 12th. I have been thinking so much lately how lucky I am to have rob in my life. We may be only married for 2 years, but we have been together for almost 5 years now and I am still so much in love with him and its only getting stronger. He has been my rock and support through many many trials I've had. He is by far one of the greatest men I have ever met in my life. I everyday cant believe he chose me to spend all eternity with. We have been through so much and I can thank him for sticking with me. He continues to amaze me in how honest and loving he is. I always knew he would be a great husband and father to my children, but he has exceeded it by far. I love him with all my heart and cant wait for many many many more memories with him. I posted probably way too many pictures of us, but...looking at them made me remember each moment we had and they were all so great.

Life of a baby
Makayla and I went to California AGAIN. I know we've been traveling a little too much lately, but It was my sisters bridal shower and I couldn't miss it. I only have one sister and I feel like I should be there for her as much as I can during this exciting time in her life. Plus we wont have the free flying benefits forever so we might as well take advantage of it while we can. Makayla does great on planes and she actually sleeps longer when we somewhere else rather than home, so as long as she's not being effected by it, It makes me a little more at ease inside. Also my parents really cant get enough of mnm. I think grandpa had a little too much fun playing airplane with her. She may like the real plane rides more than the fake ones. =)
I always love taking family pictures especially since I have an amazingly handsome husband and a beautiful baby girl

Here are some everyday faces Makayla loves to make. She is loving her hands at this stage and seeing all the things she can do with them.

Our Trip To Spokane Washington
The ducks and geese were so close to us.
This couch is HUGE!
This chair doesn't seem that big in the picture but it was
The fireplace was beautiful
This weekend Robert and I went to Spokane Washington for my cousins wedding. We had such a great time. This was the first time Rob has met family from my moms side. He has only met my grandparents and one aunt, but he finally got to meet more of my relatives. Today started out as such a great day! We woke up at 6 and realized that makayla had slept for 8 hours! It was amazing! I think that was her gift to me for mothers day. So then we packed up and left my aunts house and decided to go sight seeing since it was our last day in Washington and we first went to a hotel which had a really awesome huge chairs. Then we went to a park and it was so beautiful! There was a big pond that had tons of ducks and geese which we fed. Makayla was so funny there were some seagulls that were so loud and it seemed like she was trying to imitate their noises. And she just starred and starred at all the birds. We had a little picnic and it was so relaxing. We then got so tired and took a nap. I was kind of bummed cuz there were some flower gardens that I really wanted to go in and I'm sure they were gorgeous, but I was so tired I couldn't seem to get up to go, so we slept instead. Then we flew back home to AZ and Makayla was so good on the plane she slept the entire time. The flight was 2 1/2 hours. All in all I had the best mothers day ever. I am so Thankful I am a mom and have the best daughter in the world. She is my life now and I love her so much. I knew I would love her, but I didn't realize how much I could love this tiny little person. Heavenly Father has truly blessed me more than I feel I deserve and I could not be more grateful. I also have the greatest mom in the world! She has taught me so much and has always shown me the right way. Her example is one to live by and I lover her so much. And not to forget my mother in law! Judy has embraced me as her own daughter and has never made me feel unwelcome. I love you so much Judy! Thank you both for all that you do for me.

Makayla's Blessing
How great it was to have Makayla blessed on Sunday. She looked so beautiful. I'm so thankful that my parents and Robs parents could come out to be there for us. Rob did such a wonderful job, her blessing was amazing and all the perfect words were said in it. This dress that she wore was pretty special to me, because my mom, my sister and I all got blessed in this dress, and it was so great to have Makayla blessed in it as well. I still cant believe we have this perfect little girl in our lives. I have been pretty sick this week, so after sacrament I took makayla home and we took a nap, so I didn't get to take any pictures of kayla with any of her grandparents, except one with my mom. Or with Rob and I in our church attire. It was a special day anyway with or without pics, but...I do wish I had gotten some more
We are so thankful to have parents who are so supportive. Thank you mom and dad for showing so much love for us and always giving us great advice. Its been awesome seeing you with Makayla. Thank you for letting us come visit you so often and for taking her in the middle of the night when I needed some much needed sleep. Also thank you Judy and Robert for coming to visit us and for helping us out so much. You guys have been so willing to help out whenever we needed help and you always seem so excited to have us come visit you or when you guys come visit us. We love you all so much and are thankful that you could be our parents!!

Life cant get any better!
Makayla and I flew to San Diego again. We went for more wedding stuff for my sister and like last time we were supposed to only be there for the weekend, but my mom convinced us to stay the whole week long. We wouldn't normally have, but my dad was in a different city for work and my mom didn't want to drive by herself to our place for Makayla's blessing, so I stayed to keep her company on the drive. It was so much fun being home. And this past week Makayla has really become more of her own person. She doesn't suck her thumb, but she has definitely found her index and middle finger and sucks on them a lot!! Its so cute. She doesn't even have to try to find them, she just puts them right into her mouth. Mnm also rolled over for the first time. She was on her tummy and rolled onto her back! I was so excited I about smothered her with kisses. She also had her first giggle. She has always smiled so much, and she has been trying to talk back to us much more, but I was making her smile and she totally giggled a few different times. Things just cant get any better. Life has been so exciting since our little mnm has come into our life. We took Smalls and my parents dog Spaz to the dog park and put her in her carrier. She looked so adorable!
I got to spend a day with my 2 best friends shopping and just having fun like the old days. It is so much more work having a baby though. We spent about an hour in the family lounge so I could nurse and calm her down since she was a little fussy, but my friends were troopers through it all.

On the plane I had a row to my own and she was asleep the whole time, so I just laid her down in the seat next to me. She looked so peaceful I had to take a picture.
Even though it was so much fun being back home in Cali, it was hard to be away from Rob. I sent him so many pictures and videos, but we missed each other so much. He told me next time I go by myself to Cali I'm not allowed to stay long again. I love Robert so much and am so glad to have him as my husband and the father of my child. He is such a great dad. Life can not get any better!
