Makayla Nicole Miller was born!

The day finally came! Our baby Makayla arrived. She was born on February 23rd, 2009 8lbs 6oz 20.5inches long. My water broke at 2:45am on my actual due date and I was in labor for 14 hours. She was born at 5:07pm. Labor went very smooth I only had about a half hours worth of real contractions before getting my epidural and didn't feel anything as I pushed her out. She is so pretty and precious! We love her so much and are so excited she finally came.

Rob Turns 28!

The big 28!! Rob turned 28 yesterday. He had a great day. I filled the living room with balloons and a big poster that said happy birthday, so he was pretty surprised when he woke up in the morning. He got to work from home, so for breakfast he requested that he wanted doughnuts, so I picked up doughnuts and brought them home. It was kind of a bummer he had to work, but at least we could spend the day together. He didn't want to go out to lunch or dinner so we sat on our porch and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch and for dinner I made him pork chops with rice. I made him a cake and went a little crazy on the candles and pretty much burned myself and couldn't even light all the candles, but it was still fun. We then rented the movie Get Smart, which we saw in the theatre, but rob really wanted to see it again, and he laughed through the whole thing. So yesterday was a pretty fun day. I cant believe Robert is 28. I am so lucky to have him in my life and I cant wait to spend many more birthdays with him.

3 weeks left

So we have 3 weeks left until my due date. We are so ready for her to come now!! We have her room all ready, we have enough clothes, we are stocked up on diapers, we even have the car seat waiting for her in the car. All we need left now is little Makayla!! Waiting is so hard. I have been in so much pain and wished she would just come. Lets hope she makes her entrance sooner than later.
