Trick or Treat

Our neighborhood had a BBQ party on Halloween day that has kind of become a tradition with our neighborhood (this bbq was a different party than the ward party) . After the BBQ we took Makayla trick or treating

This was Makayla's first year trick or treating and at first she was very hesitant. She would not let me put her down and she would cry every time we went to a house weather it was scary or not, until she realized people were giving her candy. 10 min after we started she started walking up to the houses holding her little candy bag (she would not let us hold it) and go up to the people with the candy and try to take the candy out of their bowls. It was pretty funny!

We had such a great Halloween hope you all did too!

Pumpkin Patch Fun!!

We have had so much fun this Halloween season! The day before Halloween we went to a pumpkin patch and Makayla Loved it!! We also had our ward Halloween party and it was beyond amazing. Our ward invited all our neighbors for it to be a missionary experience and there was a haunted house, 3 bounce houses, a rock climbing wall, pony rides, bull rides and lots of yummy food! It was like a mini carnival and was so much fun. We are so lucky to be in such a great ward and have made so many wonderful friends.

at the pumpkin patch Makayla went through the corn maze and loved running around, she took off and rob was hiding and she was trying to find him, it was super cute

there were fun animals and pedal bikes and other fun games and activities. Definitely a Halloween tradition we will do for years to come!

She also wanted to wear her wings out to the playground. I wanted her to wear wings for Halloween, but when I tried to put them on her she would start screaming and take them off but of course the day before Halloween she wanted to wear her wings out to the playground! She's a silly girl

Uh oh! am I in trouble? =) This girl is obsessed with our bathroom cabinets. Last week she had spilled a whole bottle of baby powder all over our bathroom and the other day it was lotion. She just loves getting into things

Makayla's Milestones

Crawling: 5 months

First tooth: 71/2 months, 1 bottom tooth. Few weeks later the second bottom tooth came in.

Walking: 8 1/2 months

First time she said mom: 8 months

First time she said dad: 9 months

Waves hi & bye: 9 months

Sign Language: She learned please in sign language when she was about 10 months. She now at 15 months can say please, more, drink, eat, and all done.

Points to body parts: 11 months she could point to her nose and belly button. At 15 months she knows where her eyes, ears, nose and her belly button is.

15 months: Makayla goes through phases where she loves to give kisses. I'll ask for a kiss and she'll give me one, then look over at rob and go give him kisses and then come back to me and then go back to him over and over again. Even if we are on opposite sides of the room. I love it. Makayla is also getting much sweeter with her friends. Instead of screaming in their face, she is hugging them. She will give ayden the boy I nanny hugs all day and giggle with him for such a long time. Another fun thing she started doing this week is pointing at the birds and planes in the sky and she's starting to copy movements in some of the songs we sing together.

Bye Bye: Crib - 17 months old

Bottle - 18 1/2 months old

Pacifier - 21 1/2 months old

Potty Trained: 2.5 years old. She started showing interest at 27 months and is pretty much fully potty trained at 29 months except for nap and bedtime.

17 months: Knows mostly all of her ABC'S. We will point to the letters and she will say which letter it is. also a few months ago she learned mostly all her colors she will say and point to each color.

Ride bike without training wheels: 4months before she turned 4 years old

Robbie's Milestones

3 1/2 months: First haircut (whole head)

6 months: Crawling

6 months: (6 months 1 week) first tooth
(6 months 3 week) second tooth (both bottom)

8 months: Waves hi

8.5 months: First dramatic tantrum lol (he was trying to climb the stairs and did not want me to take him away

Bye bye: Pacifier, 10 months

Bottle, 16 months

Crib, 21 months

24 months: Potty Training 2 weeks after his 2nd birthday he became interested. We spent 3 day naked with the little potty and by day 3 he had not 1 accident at home.
