Halloween Time!

I LOVE Halloween! This year I haven't been as much into Halloween as every other year, but that doesn't mean I dont love it! Who doesn't like tons of candy, cute kids in costumes and fun activities! We went to the pumpkin patch this year as always and it was so much fun!

It was also our wards Halloween party and like usual it did not disappoint! Our ward is seriously amazing!!! They go all out for our Halloween party's. This year they had everything plus more. They had pony rides, train rides, bounce houses, bull riding, rock climbing wall, swings that fly in the air, bounce slides, cotton candy and snow cones etc...yeah like I said its amazing! The ward puts it on for all the neighborhood too so its huge and its a chili cook off too. We have been so blessed to live in such an incredible neighborhood and ward.

Here are some pictures of our party and the pumpkin patch

Makayla got her arms panted!

Isn't she so cute as little red riding hood!

Mexican Cruise

My parents are addicted to cruising, so they decided to take the whole family on one (minus the grand kids) unfortunately Rob got a new job recently so was not able to come with us which was extremely hard for me to be away from him and Makayla for a whole week, but it was still a blast. We now know why my parents are addicted and everyone is planning another cruise for next year!

there is so much to do on the ship. From endless all day and night buffets, to comedy clubs, to karaoke, to all the funny shows, dance clubs and swimming it was just non stop fun. One of the highlights was watching my brothers do Karaoke, it was hilarious and got everyone pumped up. Someone even wanted to get a pic with my oldest brother. They're famous now haha

We took some family pictures (so sad we're missing my husband) =(

It was so awesome to be surrounded by only water!

There were 2 formal dinners and this one was taken on our first formal night. The dinners were amazing! Everything is free so you can order multiple appetizers, Entrees and desserts and that's exactly what we did every single night!

This is me trying Escargot (snail!) it actually wasn't too bad, but just the thought of eating a snail grosses me out! I also tried alligator, shark, and frog legs. Sick I know but since they were all free I thought I try them just to say I've had it before.

This was a church in Puerto Vallarta. It was very pretty there although I didn't get many pictures

Here is us in Cabo San Lucas. Everyone did the zip lines (except for me cuz I'm pregnant) and we all went snorkeling!

me and my beautiful mom

The people who made the whole trip happen! Thanks mom and dad for an amazing time and experience.

us 2 girls

I'm so blessed to have such an amazing family.

just one of those days

Today I've been hearing a lot of this.....

and its been making me feel a lot like this...

I think I'm letting my pregnancy hormones get to me lately and i don't feel like I've had the patience I used to have. Maybe tomorrow I'll hear a lot less tantrums (and let me tell you that girl of mine sure knows how to scream LOUD) and hopefully I can start feeling myself again. Until then I'm counting down the minutes until Rob gets home so I can lock my door, take a bath and have some alone time.

Home Bodies

Now that we've been home from all our vacations we have spent lots of time hanging out at the house. Not only because I'm still suffering from pregnancy sickness, and because it is extremely hot outside to do anything, but we also have had some visitors. Roberts sister Megan had a layover here in phoenix so she stayed a very quick short night with us, but it was her first time seeing our home, so it was fun and special for us. Also my sister came to visit for a few days and it was amazing! I love when my sister comes, and although we didn't do too much we did have fun just hanging out. Last but not least Roberts brother was able to visit us for a few days and it was his first time here at our place too, so we have had a busy but very fun couple of weeks! We only got one picture with our visitors and it was of Makayla and Devin, and let me tell you Makayla LOVES her aunts and uncles. She used to be so shy around them, but she has really come out of her shell. Her and Devin played and played and played and had such a fun time running around the house playing hide and seek and she had a blast playing with aunt "cee cee" lacey. She keeps asking for her and saying cee cee bye bye!! Its the cutest thing. Unfortunately she only was able to spend an hour or so with Megan, but was definitely showing her the new things she's learned.

I recently got this Baby Bjorn. I had one with Makayla, but it had broke so we bought a new one for the next baby and thought it would be funny to put kayla in it and she thought so too =)

Robert and Makayla have had lots of snuggling time. She loves her daddy so much and gets so sad when he leaves for work, and so excited when he comes home. They have been wrestling lately which is pretty funny and playing catch and trying to play baseball. Who needs a little boy when we have this super talented outgoing little tomboy in our house! She is lots of fun these days

oh and lastly this beautiful little girl of ours is back in dance. Did we get the best of both worlds or what?!! She plays all sports and wrestles with her daddy and yet is super girly and sings and dances all day and gets to be my little princess. She loves her dance class and all her little friends that are in it. She is really growing up. She knows all her ABC's. If you write them in any order on a piece of paper she can tell me what letter it is. She is so smart, so fun, and so loving. She is going to be such a great big sister!

If you haven't heard the great news (which I'm sure most or all of you have)

We are PREGNANT!!!!!

We found out while we were in Tampa Fl, and being somewhere else when finding out this news made it much more exciting. Because it took so long to become pregnant I had time to think about if I was going to take a test with Robert next to me, or surprise him. When we found out we were pregnant the first time I had taken the test and called him right away and he came home and we called all our family and friends in that moment and we remember thinking.....now what! hehe so I knew i wanted this time to be different.

I took the test while Robert was working and was in complete shock it was positive! I wanted to do something really cute to surprise Robert, but in the moment I was much too excited to think and only knew where a walmart was so I went there and picked up a shirt and a marker and wrote on it. Rob didn't get home until late that evening, but when he came home Makayla went running to him and he saw the shirt, turned it around and looked over at me with the biggest smile. He was in complete shock as well! We could not be happier right now!

I had a scare early on in the pregnancy. I went to my first doc appt when I was supposed to be 6 weeks 5 days (calculating from when I got my positive ovulation test not lmp) well...we had an ultrasound and the baby was measuring at 5 weeks 1 day and with no heartbeat. A heartbeat doesn't start beating until around 6 weeks and they try not to worry until baby is 8 weeks with no heartbeat, so the heartbeat was not the worst of my worries at that time. It was the fact that he/she was measuring almost 2 weeks behind. The doc said all we could do was wait it out and do another ultrasound in a week to see if there was any progression. In my crazy head I thought for sure the baby had died. Maybe if the measurements were only a couple days off i would have thought differently but 2 weeks is a big difference. I had no pregnancy symptoms either and with Makayla I got super sick right away along with other symptoms. For the whole week I was a wreck to say the least. I was pretty much crying off and on all day and waiting to miscarry. It was a terrifying experience. We had asked our families to fast for us and in the same weekend my parents, aunt, and grandparents had all gone to the temple and put our name in. It was so amazing to know that our names were in 3 different temples at the same time. I finally got into my appt a week later and had my ultrasound and.......ugh there was the heartbeat!! I instantly threw my head in my hands and just started to cry. To know that this baby was alive and growing was the most amazing feeling ever! We still don't know what happened, baby is still measuring small, but only a week behind and everytime we've gone in for an ultrasound the baby had grown slightly more in short time, so i wouldn't be surprised if baby catches up to original size and my due date changes.

Pregnancy thus far had been pretty rough! Other than the scare early on, I became extremely sick. Not morning sickness, I call it all day sickness! Its been pretty hard, I was super sick with Makayla, but it was a while ago, so I cant tell if this one is worse or better I'm thinking it has been the exact same as with Makyala, but at least this time I finally got a prescription from my doctor and it has really helped. It doesn't take the nausea away completely, but enough for me to cook, or want to eat something. I'm 12 weeks sat (wasn't planning on announcing it until 13 weeks but hubby couldn't wait and was begging for me to tell everyone) cute right! and I am so ready to be in my second trimester!!! We feel so blessed and grateful to be able to experience pregnancy again. When trying for so long you start thinking what if I cant have another baby, and now that i am pregnant I have a whole new look on pregnancy and parenthood. I know going through what we went through was only to make us stronger and appreciate this gift that much more. I don't even want to wait 6 more months I am ready to have this baby out and start the no sleep, lots of nursing, hearing the newborn cry's and go through the emotions (because I'm sure my hormones will be raging again after this baby). Bring on this scary yet so exciting time. We are ready!

Hello hair!

From the moment Makayla was born Robert and I would say how we couldnt picture how she would look like with long hair. Today after straightening my hair she wanted up on the counter and wanted me to do her hair so I did. Afterwards I looked at her and couldn't believe how long her hair has gotten. Of course she has curly hair so it isn't this long normally but....wow she no longer looks like a baby (not that she has for a while) but its definitely an eye opener that time goes so quickly and here is our 2 in a half year old with hair halfway down her back.

I absolutely LOVE her curly hair! but it is kinda cool to see her with straight long hair its just a reminder that she is growing up faster than I realized!

Only Makayla

Only Makayla would crack me up in 3 different photos. I caught her reading the newspaper one morning and what did I do....run for the camera =)

Then I found her playing with the dogs with goggles on her eyes.

Last but not least she decided she likes to put the goggles on her head instead of wearing them on her eyes all while being clotheless and wearing a necklace. My daughter is pretty dang stylish! She must have my good taste haha. and she was pointing to her pull up because she had just pee'd in it. Lets just say while we were in cali this whole week potty training didnt exsist. She was outside in my parents backyard the whole week playing with the dogs that she did not want or care to go potty in the house. Now that we are finally home we can get back on the potty training waggon.

Life with this little girl is never dull and I love it!
