Ok so I'm not doing very well at keeping our blog updated as much as I'd like, but hey we don't do very many interesting things. So last week was my 24th birthday. Normally I don't fuss much about it or get very excited, but for some reason this year I was just well...excited. and I'm so glad it was just as good as I hoped it would be. 
When I woke up Rob was cooking me breakfast (he was planning on surprising me with breakfast in bed, but...for some reason I actually woke up and went downstairs) and he had blown up balloons and scattered them throughout the kitchen. It was very cute! Well he had to go to work and after that it was just a normal day.
the weather has been so nice out lately and I've been dying for a patio set to actually enjoy sitting outside watching Makayla and Smalls play, so for my birthday I got my patio set! =) we also got a grill to go with it as an early fathers day gift! hehe so ever since, we've spend almost every night grilling and relaxing on our patio. I still have a lot more to do to spruce up the patio like some pots with flowers and just cute things, but all in due time. I absolutely am loving the set though. I looks so much better in person.
When Rob got home from work he had surprised me with edible arrangements. The chocolate covered strawberry's and they were so good! mmmm oh yeah and my friend had brought over a cake so we had so many treats in the house (perfect timing right? while we're trying to eat healthy are exercise regularly) but who cares everyone needs some sweets once in a while. Then we went on a date to Red Lobster of course which was so stinking good, then went to see The Last Song. It was such a good day! I'm so lucky I have the greatest husband in the world! I love you honey thank you so much for making my birthday so special.
here are some random pictures of Makayla. She's growing up so much. I asked her yesterday morning if she was hungry and she shook her head yes and said uh huh, and I asked her again and she said "yeah" and shook her head yes again, then proceeded to go to her cabinet that has all her snacks in it. Also I was doing something and I said oh shoot and she tried to imitate me and kept saying "oh shoot", but it wasn't sounding like shoot it sounded more like sh**. haha it was funny. Its just so crazy how much she is learning and how more and more she's becoming this beautiful little girl. Finally she's starting to listen more. She isn't disobeying as much as she has this past month. She's a kid of course and wont always listen, but its fun watching her understand and try to make mommy happy.
Last is a picture of her sleeping. Every night Rob and I go check on her before we go to bed and we find her in the funniest positions. This isn't so crazy, her leg is just hanging out of the bed, but we couldn't help snap a picture, there is nothing like watching a baby sleep. They have the most sweetest faces while they're dreaming. Ugh just makes me want to squeeze her to pieces! =) Love this girl!
