Where are all the Pacifiers?

Here they are! gotta love it when you find your baby with a Binky in her mouth and one in each hand walking around the house. Its even better when she trips and the one in her mouth pops out and she pops one that was already in her hand right back in her mouth and gets up and starts walking around again. This girl is too funny!

Its begining to look a lot like christmas!

Last night we went to the mesa Temple lights and it was so much fun!
This is the first time we got to bundle Makayla up in winter clothes and we absolutely LOVED it. Have you ever seen a cuter baby? We sure haven't =)

Our great friends Sarah and Jake went with us. They are having a baby girl in February and Sarah looks so stinking cute all pregnant!

Skinny Mini

Makayla had her 9 month check up yesterday. She is still skinny mini weighing in at 17 in a half pounds. Most of her little friends that are her age weigh so much more than her, but the doctor wasn't worried. I told the doctor how much I feed her and how often and she couldn't believe she ate that much. She just burns all her food off because she is so active. She's been walking now for about 3 weeks and getting better everyday. She NEVER crawls anymore which is so weird and just shows me how fast she is growing. I'm already having to chase her around the house, but even though its pretty exhausting I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm so grateful that she is such a happy and healthy baby. Another great milestone she has hit is SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! at six months we finally got her to sleep through the night and it has been amazing to say the least. It has made a huge difference in her attitude and both Rob and mine. She is so much more happy. Makayla sleeps 12 hours every night and doesn't wake up once. I thought when she started teething again that her waking up would come back, but it didn't and the cold didn't keep her awake either. Its been a great blessing. Life has never been better.

Sweet Baby

After all the hard work...

So we finally decided its time to landscape our backyard. This whole year it has been just plain dirt. We were getting so sick of it and smalls just dug holes all over and dust was getting in our home so much it was a pain! Robs amazing parents flew out here to help us do it. They were serious life savers!! There is NO WAY we could have done it without them. Well we could have tried but...it would have taken FOREVER and we probably wouldn't have done a very good job. It was a lot of preparation but well worth it.
Judy and I decided to make trellises ourselves instead of buying them. So we cut the wood to the right size nailed it together and painted them. It was actually pretty fun.

Rob and I laid out the sod all by ourselves yesterday on Halloween day. It took all day long but.. we got it in. We didn't realize how heavy sod rolls are. Thanks to a neighbor of ours who let us borrow their wheelbarrow. Without that we wouldn't have gotten it done in one day

all the plants are mini right now, but they will grow and it will look much better. Once the vines grow on the trellis it will add a lot too.

We wanted it pretty much all grass and simple and that's what we got. Its so nice looking out the window and seeing green grass instead of dirt. Its relaxing and we cant wait till we can go out and play with smalls and Makayla! It was tons of work, but....YAY ITS DONE!!!!

Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween! Little miss Makayla was a very cute lady bug. Surprisingly she never tried to pull on her antennas which was pretty amazing. Our neighborhood had a barbecue which was a blast and mnm got to play with all of her friends. We have a couple neighbors who have baby girls all around Makayla's age so it was fun to get them together for a picture. They weren't wanting to cooperate though so it was impossible to get a good shot.
after the barbecue we went over to a friends house and made a ginger bread haunted house and hung out. It was a great night!!
